Rocío Solís

Director of Inclusion and Social Development @ YMCA Peru

Rocío was first a YMCA volunteer and has been working for the YMCA as a professional since 2001. Rocio is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and systematisation of sustainable development programs and services for people and groups living in poverty and vulnerability in Lima, Trujillo and Arequipa. She also mobilises funds from international cooperation and international YMCA partners.

Rocío is also a university professor, teaching Social Management and Community Relations, Cultural management and negotiation of socio-environmental conflicts, Currents of Thought in Social Management, as well as Inclusion and Participation Pubic Policies. Rocío holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Social Sciences Administration and Human Development Management.
