Dr. Pala Molisa

Lecturer at the School of Accounting and Commercial Law @ Victoria University of Wellington

Pala is Ni-Vanuatu and a Pacific Island scholar and academic whose research focuses on the ways in which so many of the major forms of social and ecological crises we collectively face today are rooted in the political and economic conditions of the dominant social systems ruling the world.

His work explores the material and psychological nature of these social systems, and the ways in which they produce pathology and disease. And also the ways in which people, individually and collectively, can begin to challenge and transform these systems by reconnecting to ourselves and to the power that’s at the heart of existence.
