Daniel Zuhlke

@ YMCA Germany

Daniel has always been doing sports in his leisure time. When he was about 13 years old, he began to play volleyball in organised training by his church. While he was learning volleyball techniques and tactics, he learned and practiced youth leadership at the same time until he left his hometown to study at YMCA University of applied science in Kassel/Germany.

Today he is a licensed trainer of a volleyball league team and a trainer for volleyball courses of CVJM-Westbund (Western Federation of YMCAs/ YMCA Germany) where he instructs volleyball techniques and tactics. He also is the voluntary volleyball official at YMCA Germany (national movement) and coordinates the national volleyball activities.

As a social education worker, he works for a charitable Christian organisation and teaches apprentices to help them to achieve their profession.
