Youth Support Program Manager @ YMCA USA
Annastasia “Stacey” Guilfoyle, a longtime member of the YMCA movement, with over 20 years of involvement from participant to professional. Stacey first became a YMCA participant at the age of nine through connecting to an after-school program, Beacons. Her love for the Y grew through participating in various YMCA programs annually.
Throughout her young adulthood, Stacey remained connected to the YMCA which led her to explore various avenues of employment and development opportunities. In 2013, she began her professional career in Youth Intervention Services where she enhanced her passion in youth development, equity, diversity, and inclusion in a global context.
This passion has led her to become a diversity and cultural facilitator for the Y-USA, teaching Y-professionals the basics around diversity/inclusion and powerful impact it has on YMCA’s work with the community. Stacey serves as a Youth Support Program Manager in her daily role with the YMCA.
Stacey is committed to helping youth find their voice and caring adults to advocate beside them. This work hits home for Stacey as she too was once a youth in the YMCA searching for guidance and positive affirmation. Through this work she helps create group learning environments to help youth become independent, advocate system change within juvenile corrections and foster care, and supporting a team of staff working to support the needs of system involved youth.
